Here's what other people are saying about Bouquet Ideale...
I have a more thorough review on fragrantica if you are interested. I think the focal point here many people are overlooking is this fragrance is almost identical to the famous Musc Ravegeur! I compared the notes. Aside from the very top that last only a couple of minutes, the fragrances are identical. If you are a fan of warm spice and sweetness, dump your entire paycheck to get this. It's that good.

I sampled this in summer--hot humid day. I found that outdoors, when I was only an hour into the scent, it was so discreet as to be almost imaginary... I was dismayed, especially knowing how much Xerjoff costs. When I got home in air conditioning I could appreciate it more. It is truly lovely--I get the cinammon, cedar, sandalwood and vanilla for sure, plus some other niceties that I can't connect with other notes. However, I would never buy this simply because of the price vs. performance issue. It does have some longevity although by no means a big win in that department. If you love this brand, or love these notes, give it a whirl--it is very classy and refined. But SAMPLE FIRST.

I received a sample of this. For the first 20 minutes or so this was quite peppery and quite strong - and I did not enjoy it. The next hour or so, the strength declined, but the pepper was still there. I had already labeled this as a DNB (Do Not Buy), but then I got to the final dry down and it was lovely. Subtle, vanilla, some cinnamon, and I might be able to detect a little rose. I love it. Of course, at this point I was the only one who could smell it. If this wasn’t so expensive, I would buy it just for the lingering base notes that I could sniff on myself to my heart’s content. Since it is massively expensive, however, I will just try to make the sample last, or see if I can find a small decant somewhere else.

Had a sample of this on while running errands, passed a woman who asked, "What are you wearing? Girl, everyone'll be following you around if you keep wearing that!" It has a definite 19th century Italian character, as if you're drifting through ruined palazzos surrounded by wooded gardens of cedar, nutmeg and drooping roses. I don't detect the cinnamon, gladly, because I'm not much of a fan of it in perfume. What amazes me is how heady labdanum and musk doesn't make this into a narcotized mess. It's airy--but how? I'm definitely buying the full size of this beauty.

Oh man is this ever gorgeous! I had to get a decant of this because I couldn't afford the whole bottle but I will say if you have the money this is full bottle worthy. So smooth, spicy and warm vanilla. I can smell the oud but it's not overpowering in this, thank God. This is a warm, cuddly delicious scent that you don't want to miss!

Oh my I am in love! FULL BOTTLE WORTHY for me. Most perfumes fade on me this one lasts and just gets mellow. Give me my cashmere sweater and a roaring fire and I will be in heaven sniffing my wrists. This will be my fall/winter go to. I was sampling for Amouage since I met someone wearing Reflection, got a bunch of samples, all vanished with in a few hours. Too expensive for that nonsense, but I loved the bottles. I also received more Xerjoff samples can't wait to try a different one tomorrow. My signature scents were the discontinued Jo Malone- Blue Agava, and Herve Leger,- Herve Leger. I am so sad! Also wear Burberry Brit and D&G Light Blue. I have no idea what I actually smell as notes in any perfumes.
