The review by Dana is spot on. She did such a lovely job describing this fragrance that I did a blind buy. I was told it was similar to Lira and I love Lira so I had to try it out. I'm a serious gourmand lover and when I heard there was a sponge cake note in this, I already knew I was in love. To me, it starts of fruity and a little spicy and sweet. Then settles into the vanilla sponge cake. Absolutely beautiful. The longevity of this is out of this world. I sprayed on my chest in the morning before work and could smell the lovely scent lingering all day until I came home. So 8 hours plus you can get out of it. This is my favorite. If you love gourmand, then this needs to be in your collection.

I love this perfume so much!!! It’s the best gourmand ever created!! I hope this perfume stays in market forever!

My skin alwayss amplifies the drier accords. That being said, this is hangs in the balance between innocence and knowing. The cushy, buttery teddy bear or rubbery toy/ pound cake notes and grow up growl of soft woods verging on birch smoke makes this fragrance an occasional holy grail. Comfort and confidence!

I tried a sample and knew right away that I would be adding a full bottle to my collection. Love & Crime has a richness and depth that take it beyond your typical gourmand. The dry down is the delectable sponge cake. A little really does go a long way. A couple of sprays is all you need. The sillage and the longevity are excellent. Truly a special and unique fragrance.

This is hands-down my favorite fragrance right now. I think the Lucky Scent video below does a beautiful job describing it. For me, I get a burst of orange and cocoa — almost a marzipan accord — right out the gate. Then the delicious vanilla sponge cake comes in. I don’t get much on the floral front, but that doesn’t bother me. This is some sexy juice! I can see the comparison to Xerjoff’s Lira, but I find this a lot smoother and well-blended. I haven’t been this excited about a perfume in years — a gourmand of the highest order!

Perfect floral gourmand. Beautifully balanced and good sillage. Besides the notes listed, after the dry down, there is a tiny sweet tobacco smell. It’s an inviting scent.

Love and Crime was one of many samples I ordered recently, but the only one that I loved enough to buy a full bottle of as quickly as I could! This is the kind of gourmand that I just love....easy to understand, beautifully blended, but with a surprise or two as it develops on skin. On my skin, I get a light angel food cake, with a pinch of citrus zest and a citrus glaze. I don't get cocoa all that much, but there is something there that keeps everything from getting too cloyingly sweet. That said, make no mistake....this is sweet! I prefer to spray into the air and walk into the mist, instead of spraying directly on my skin. Longevity is amazing too... several hours of nice projection; again, no need to overspray. Gorgeous!

Love and Crime is a delicious dream. Vanilla goodness with the hint of mandarin and cocoa to round it out. Bought a sample and now I'm going to have to buy the whole bottle.

I just picked this up at Scent Bar it is delectable buttercream frosting decorated with candied lemon and orange slices. Trying to choose between this and the delicious almond pastry of Cafe Chantant.

This fragrance smells almost exactly like Xerjoff Lira. Orange, caramel, vanilla. Love it.
