Aria di Capri

Eau de Parfum

If you like Aria di Capri Eau de Parfum, we recommend you try:
Here's what other people are saying about Aria di Capri...
Aria di Capri is one of my favorite perfumes, not just of the Carthusia line but of all perfumes. It's warm and sweet and herbal and unusual. Turin gave it 4 stars in the 2008 perfume guide. I loved it back then and I'm happy to say the current version still smells great to me. Aria reminds me a bit of L de Lubin (a similarly polarizing fragrance). Both evoke autumn reds, browns and golds, but Aria is is a lighter scent, like L on summer vacation. I smell the sweet dripping peach in it, and something more complex underneath like herbs or resin. If you crave only "fresh and clean" scents, Aria may not appeal to you, but if you like perfumes that lean vintage and complex, and especially if you're a fan of L de Lubin, give it a try.

This is very dated, in a good way. Think Givenchy's Le De or Balenciaga's Fleeting Moment, or perhaps Patou's Vacances. Very ethereal and nostalgic with absolutely no naughtiness. No surprise that it's unpopular, they really DON'T make em like this anymore.

This scent does not live up to its description at all. Far too overpowering with a sour lemon effect. Waited for the dry down, even then it was a linear journey.

I can't express enough how much I hated this scent. It made me physically ill. It was so overpowering and flowery smelling. I was immediately dizzy and sick. It was the same way with another scent from this line. Maybe it is an ingredient they use. Sorry...
