Here's what other people are saying about Halfeti...
I bought a bottle of this in Paris, so it always reminds me of wandering alone in that city. The smoke, spice, and wood are very heavy on this scent, and it projects for miles! It was my first toe into niche perfumes, but alas, it began to give me an allergic reaction, and after my nose has become a little more mature, it began to smell quite artificial as well. It always got compliments, and was my first "dark" scent and I have yet to find one similarly "of a winter's night," so I'm still rating it highly. It dries down VERY baby-powdery on me, which I'm not a big fan of, but this fragrance is the best of this house by far.

Delicious at the start - smoky, spicy, dark, powdery-rosy and slightly citrusy, but develops very flowery/sweet. The kind of thing you’d want to dab some vetiver under - but for 200/bottle, you don’t want to have to improvise.

I can't believe no one has reviewed this magnificent fragrance, which I discovered at a Penhaligon's store in Chelsea, London. As soon as I tried it, I knew I had to have this rose-oud fragrance, which can be worn by a man or woman. The Lucky Scent description is spot-on: "spicy and soft, lovely and dark, complex and comfortable all blend in perfect harmony, with that singularly beautiful rose standing tall in the middle." It is not only the best fragrance that I know from Penhaligon's, but one that I would purchase again and again.

"Cleopatra in crimson. Royalty, belly dancing. The most gorgeous sultry woman you’ve ever seen. Catherine Zeta-Jones in Chicago. Liquid gold. Laying your head on the heart of your love when danger has subsided. Matured, complex, striking." Other notes: Incredible staying power on this one, not for the faint of heart, wicked. -AW
