Here's what other people are saying about Intoxicated...
The cardamom is at the forefront of this one, and I love it. You still get some of the creamy coffee, but it's wafting gently in the background. There's a calming element to this that was unexpected, but maybe that could be another interpretation of what it means to be "intoxicated" by the scent. This is one I'm gonna save up for - a potential signature scent.

Gorgeous. Edible. Sexy but not drop dead so it’s friendly enough for a more casual occasion as well as date night.

This is my signature scent. Something about the way it mixes with my body chemistry just clicks. It's deep and sultry, but just still sweet and feminine enough to be the quintessential femme fatale fragrance. It does die down a fair amount after a few hours, but it's still lingering on the skin, just enough that when someone gets close it draws them in a little closer rather than being so strong that it's off-putting. I plan to wear this for as long as they continue to make it!

I was taken over by this scent in about 3 seconds. Also to say, I am incredibly picky with the scent I choose to express myself and who I am. I immediately picked up Mocha and Spearmint. Wow wow wow. Incredible job on this fragrance Kilian. It's a heavy penny but it's worth it!

This scent is complex and, like many By Killian frags, delicious. That's really the best way to describe these rich, sweet, boozy gourmands they produce - delicious. The initial spray is different - difficult to put my finger on. I get the coffee and sweetness. But, it's more complex than that. I don't mean to say I dislike the opening, I do. It's just not the start of the show. But the dry down is where this one shines for me. My chief criticism is longevity. My skin admittedly doesn't do well for longevity anyway, but I seem to only get 4-5 hours where I notice this one (even as a skin scent). Comparing that to some of Killian's others: I get 8+ out of black phantom, 8-10 out of straight to heaven, and 12+ from dark lord...

The most glorious and closely realized coffee interpretation in years, and a beautifully subtle forefronting of all the framing notes (nutmeg, cardamon, cinnamon) that make Turkish coffee interesting people who don’t drink coffee but love the aromas. Ironically, these are the very notes that lift Intoxicated out of the mere gourmands and give it beautiful presence as a warm, slightly tobacco-inflected mainstream scent. Easy to love.

I'm stunned by the coffee references to this because on my it's all absinthe and yes, there's coriander. It smells similar to L'Artisan's Absinthe Fou on me at first, but then it goes a bit darker, perhaps that's the coffee note. The dry down is deeper but I have to say I'm impressed by how close this is to really being intoxicating. There is a boozy smell to it on me, yet it still smells clean. It's not a bender, it's a drink at a smart bar after work intoxication. One of my favorite things about the Kilian scents is that they're each so unique. Unlike some larger brands (cough Bond 9, cough) none of them is a duplicate of something else out there.

Tried hard to see why it's so expensive. A*Men smells better and costs $35. Save your money peeps.

I don't know A*Men, but Intoxicated is one of the best perfumes I've ever come across. I have been buying and wearing it for over a year, and it never fails to bring compliments. This one is so good - starts out warm, spicy, strong coriander/coffee, then the cinnamon (light) comes thru, and a slight vanilla, and something just a little sweet...and there it stays. Just delicious from start to finish. never turns nasty or flat. One of my all-time favorites.

I'm feeling you should call the new one nectar bite. Think stingy a potent blast of nectar with a teeth bite, i gave you the path out of all possible perfumers .Could be a top seller... I'm ok if you just call it potentially potent too. You choose.

Those who say this is similar to A*Men are absolutely right. This is very similar to that, just a bit more toned down and refined. I would say if you like A*men, you will like this, but if I had to choose between the two, I would go with A*Men, simply because it's a fraction of the cost and is more potent.

I wanted to like this - and at first sniff it was delicious. It was rich, dark, and creamy - like a Turkish coffee should be. Then I caught a whiff of something I couldn't put my finger on - something oddly commercial and very disappointing. After a few more passes ... I realized it was A'Men by Thierry Mulger. Ugh. That ruined it for me - I thought it would be unique - but, it dried down too similarly. The coffee notes are delicious - and perfectly blended. But - the similarity made it a no-go for me... I wouldn't buy it - as there are other in his collection that are much more unique - save your $$$ for Pure Oud or Rose Oud... Or Straight to Heaven... they are amazing.
