Here's what other people are saying about Hindu Grass...
I bought this blindly, and it was basically what I expected, so that is good! I liked it a lot until the drydown where it became kind of ambery and generic in a way I didn't love. Not bad, just didn't love it. The freshness of the patch was like no other patch out there, and the green grassiness or maybe hay-like note is really beautiful and complimentay. It's a patch that sparkles rather than feels brown and soil-like.

Beautiful and strong; a bit too alcoholic too be perfect, but close. Smells like it looks; expensive but extremely concentrated, like all the Nasomatto.

I tried a sample of this, I truly loved it. The grass, warm, spiciness of it - but it lasts no time on my skin. About half an hour after application I could find barely a hint of it. So sad.

Very nice warm scent. Starts off with a nice warm, dry grass scent (picture sun kissed, dry, almost yellow grass). After a while it turns into a patch bomb. The longevity and projection could be kicked up a bit due to the price and concentration, but I'd give it a moderate to slightly above average for projection and longevity. I just wish the grassy feel lasted more than the first hour.

I absolutely love this perfume. It's calm and earthy but also indescribable in a way. It seems to have it's own type of magic.

Aoud. That's all I can pick up, which I guess is normal because aoud comprises 99% of this fragrance's profile. Not bad! However, $148 per oz. seems a little stiff.

Intersting and I keep coming back to it. Cool, green, uplifting...a bit of vetiver to my nose. I feel like I'm outdoors before I get out the door with this one on. Refreshing to wear when I'm in the city...a circle of sunshine. Very nice.

I was visiting a latin neighborhood ordering pupusas and the clerk at the register, mysteriously looked at me and asked me if I was a sorceress since I reminded him of the way his father smelled when he was a child. Evidently the father must have been into special magic. His comment did not bother me, quite the contrary it made me feel powerful and magic.

Mmmm...grassy! Has a nice patchouli note with a little hay. Nothing powdery or overtly floral.

Smell like something you might put in the bath or a vaporizer if you had a cold. Medicinal and sharp.

Got this as a sample. It does smell like freshly cut grass. It brings out this vision of me sitting in a field of freshly cut, healthy grass underneath a warm summer day. I really enjoyed this scent!

smells lovely, warm, unimpressive, like a powdered grandmother, and it lasted all day.

It smells like a combo of mold and grass that has been sitting in a locker room too long.

To me this smells like a perfume gone bad - as if I opened an antique bottle or perfume. There is no smoothness to it. Best patchouille sent for me .... Jailia

Beautiful patchouli that develops as it settles into a clear, bright, grassy patchouli, VERY similar to Keiko Mecheri Patchoulissime (which is much cheaper).

This fragrance is so pure and soaring it seems to breathe right through to the cellular level. I thought pure patchouli at first, but where patchouli takes flight and comes back down, Hindu Grass just doesn't come down. The patchouli is paired with very elevating florals - possibly iris and immortelle or angelica. Very green ethereal notes + patchouli that stays dry and uplifting - it is heavenly. The best pathcouli fragrance I've encountered.
