Molecule 01 smells weird to me, and it definitely didn't agree with my skin chemistry on its own. But I got a sample of Molecule 01 + patchouli, and really liked it, so I bought a big bottle of it. If I were to smell it on its own, I don't think I would pick up much patchouli (this from a true patchouli lover), but I really like the woody smell. I'd put this a bit more on the masculine side, though I often like wearing masculine-smelling scents.

Literally my most commented on fragrance. And by a wide margin at that. Nearly every time I wear this someone will go out of their way to ask what I'm wearing or remark that someone in the room smells amazing. It's that vivid. Something about the earthy yet clean patchouli combined with the Molecule base makes this narcotic.

Hands down the cleanest patchouli I’ve ever smelled. It’s sweet it’s pure, potent and absolutely gorgeous. Combined with the 01 molecules cedar musky scent it’s s just brilliant. The Firmenich distillation of patchouli Coeur/heart used here cleans it up big time. Very little camphor dirt and dankness on me. However this fragrance is gonna be a scent shifter per person and your scent and take on this is gonna be different than anyone else’s. So if you like cedar and patchouli you need to at least sample it to see how it mixes with you. This is a beast performance wise on me also gonna change per person. Can be worn in any season day or night. Also signature worthy if it agrees with your chemistry.

If you love patchouli, this is an immaculate rendition of all the note's woody-astringent-funky aspects. The balance between the two patchouli notes listed tips toward earthy, as opposed to the soap note of the top notes, and it all dries down to an elegant, slightly tangy softness. If you love Iso E Super, it’s… wait, trick question, every reasonable person loves Iso E Super… it’s doing great work here as the handmaiden to this thesis on What We Talk About When We Talk About Patchouli.

Terribly expensive mistake. I bought by accident but opened. Un-wearable for me. I love Molecule 01 but this is something weird and off putting. I prefer to use actual patchouli oil under my Molecule 01, Their version is foul. This cost me my interest in coming back since I can not return nor exchange to make it right.

I love Patchouli and was intigued by descriptions of the other EM perfumes, so I ordered a sample. I got no Patchouli at any point, and to me overall it smelled like cheap aftershave. Scrubbed it off!
