Here's what other people are saying about Aziyade...
This is very unique, I get an opening note of roasted brazil nut and warm sun-dried alfalfa. It is extremely difficult to resist licking my wrist to gather more information as it leans toward gourmand...somethingness. Okay, I gave in. It tastes like nothing. But it eventually smells like I spilled lunch on myself, quite distracting.

When I was in high school, I had this massive crush on an actor at our local professional children's theater. He was skinny & weird & sort of hopped when he walked. Once, he hugged me as he came off stage from the opening performance of a show & I got his armpit/sweat/funk all over me. I didn't want to wash my clothes for need to breathe in as much of him as I could get. This is that funk--cumin, cumin, cumin, candied cherry and maybe a little of that rank old greenroom mustiness. Uh-HUH!

This is gorgeous--spicy but not too spicy by any means. A nice ginger note lingers. Definitely want a bottle. Hope they have it back in stock soon!

If I hadn't already smelled the soft drink, Dr. Pepper, I'd be able to appreciate this scent for what it is. Unfortunately, though, I have and my binary brain just can't shake the association.

I already own Ambre Russe and Diptyque's L'Autre. All I have to do is layer them together to get Aziyade. But excellent for those few who crave a gourmand with a cumin note.

I was so intrigued by all the lovely ingredients that are named in this perfume and I am looking for a winter scent. Something spicy and dark and this sounded perfect. When I put it on it was just very sharp and I thought maybe it will go away. That sharpness never did, although the scent was gone about 4 hours later. So at least it didn't last all day. Oh well, on to the next.

When I first sprayed this for at least 20 minutes or so, I thought, why does it smell like a nutty lemonade? I think it might eb the crystallised dates which, especially when first sprayed, give it that 'fizzy' scent. Anyway after an hour or so out come the cinnamon and other spies and this combined with the subtle sweetness of the opening notes, smells lovely. It has impressive sillage. I don't have a problem with the cumin. As for the vanilla/patchouli musk drydown, well it's there but only very faintly in the background. But still it lends a nice deepsensuality to the blend. It doesn't smell totally unique to me, it reminds me a bit of Sushi Imperiale (which I also have) and Frapin 1270. (I've never smelt Dinner by Bobo). All in all a nice sensual oriental fragrance. Luckyscent's description is, once again, spot on.

It's gorgeous, i feel an indescriptible emotion every time i smell it. It's rich, and dangerous and if you love Orient you should give it a try. But it is obvious not for everyone's taste.

Superbe.

This is fabulous! Definately full bottle for me. Boozy opening and then the dry down to vanilla.

This is really interesting - I can smell the dates, the pomegranate, the spices - fortunately not the cumin (BO). It reminds me a bit in feel of Bois 1920 Sushi Imperiale. Good stuff!
