Here's what other people are saying about Kismet...
A bright, tangy citrus head subsides to reveal a deliriously sweet, round, almost vanilla-sucrée, balsamic Oriental base. KISMET reminds one of an oldschool Guerlain classic... the upper structure reminds me of VOL DE NUIT extraît, and the base reminds me of SHALIMAR, if it were denuded of the smoky and intensely animalic musks that some smellers are put off by. This is an opulent comfort and romance perfume, whose rich ambered base, touched with fine rose and opoponax, will glow on the skin like a medallion.

To me, this is a much classier version of Shalimar. No tonka thankfully as it comes off like a toy. Just a touch of landanum, pure vanilla and Opoponax. The roses are lush, and the citrus is smooth. Lasts about 6 to 7 hours on me. Sillage is light to moderate. Warm weather makes it bloom. Such a lovely scent!

I adore this perfume. If you like Maison Margiela's "Lipstick on", you're going to find this one to be its smarter, sexier, more complex sister. I prefer this one because it never hits a weird note. Definitely a full bottle purchase for me.

Captivating, hypnotic and mesmerizing, this perfume had me at our first hello. I love how it develops, slow and rich, eventually turning into a mellow blanket that covers my skin. I can't stop sniffing myself. Excellent staying power, but the initial spray is so big, I have a tendency to layer on one spray at a time throughout the day. I wore an Avon perfume in high school that was trying to copy the old Coty Emeraude, and this reminds me of that in the best possible way.

Starts out BIG, but settles down to an amazing fragrance that develops through stages. I am not a rose lover, and this is my new favorite perfume. The roses are kept in check by the patchouli, which, in turn, is enriched by both the rose and the opoponax. Excellent blend and yes, full bottle worthy.
