Luckyscent Videos: Shelf Tour - Almond

Hello everybody, welcome to the almond shelf. What I love about almond fragrances is that they're kind of somewhere in between cozy and gourmand and clean and kind of lotiony. I think a lot of body products kind of have an almondy smell to them. When I wear an almond fragrance I both feel clean and kind of cozy, and I love that.

There is a wide range of almond fragrances on the shelf. Some of them lean more into the kind of decadent gourmand, and then some of them are a little bit fresher. So let's start with one that I think of as being pretty clean. This is almond from Caswell-Massey. This is a very light almond. It has kind of like a salty quality to it. I think this is a great almond for summertime. It almost has a little bit of a sunscreen feel.

On that note, probably my favorite almond fragrance is Confetto from Profumum Roma. This is a little bit warmer than almond by Caswell-Massey, a little bit sweeter maybe too. There is definitely a vanilla in here, but it's also kind of a salted almond that smells a little bit like your skin after a day at the beach. A little bit salty, a little bit of sunscreen left over. I kind of think of this as a gourmand skin scent. There's a lot of white musk in here, so I think it just really melds in with your personal smell really beautifully.

Another one of my favorite almond fragrances that is definitely a little bit richer is Orgazmo from Hildy Soliani. This smells like amaretto, so it's got a little bit of a boozy quality. It's very creamy, definitely a little richer and sweeter than the others. I think this has a really sultry quality to it. I really love this one, and I've honestly never smelled another fragrance quite like it.
