Mirage Gourmand

This stuff is NUCLEAR. Like someone in one corner of a room opens a dabber vial and someone on the other side of the room like 12 feet away can smell it. I was extremely sparing with this, just a dab on each wrist and a swipe of the dabber stick across my neck. I think it's probably well-formulated in the grand scheme of things. It's not just a sugar bomb for the sake of being sugary, it does have some structure and depth to it. It's nutty and warm. I still hate this. I'm just not a fan of gourmands. It's probably a good gourmand, but I can't get past it triggering my gag reflex. If you love gourmands and want one that will be with you for 24+ hours on your skin alone, this one is for you. 1.5/10.

I strongly advocate for sampling all fragrances before blind buying, because as wonderful as the notes look, you never truly know if the fragrance’s DNA will mesh well with your personal body chemistry. Unfortunately, this scent is proof of that on my skin. There’s a perfumey note here that is both cloying and headache inducing that I didn’t get until after a full wear. The top notes also produce a synthetic buttery accord that isn’t vibing with me.

This is a lovely scent. It smells sweet and woody, with a hint of woodiness and cherry. This smells like combining Sol de Janeiro 62 and 71 with Black Opium Red.

This is a nutty, almond gourmand scent perfect for the fall and winter! The sweetness of the vanilla starts to shine through as time passes. This will be great to layer with other gourmand fragrances.

Deep, intense almond cake scent. I immediately smell the nuttiness of the fragrance upon the initial spray. Great fragrance for fall and it would layer nicely with vanilla fragrances.

This takes edible fragrance to the next level!!! Wowwwwww… just deliciously beautiful and sexy.

This is reeeeally similar to Jousset Parfums - Le Gourmand Extrait de Parfum (chocolate chip cookie). Not quite as big or hazelnutty. Not as much 'in your face' gourmand, and dries down to a more subtle, balanced perfume.

If you are a gourmand lover, you need to try this one. It is a beautiful nutty fragrance. It has a little popcorn undertone to my nose and it is super delicious. Perfect for fall. Longevity is good, sillage moderate.
