Luckyscent Videos: Escapade Gourmande - Maison Mataha

If you've spent any time on fragrance internet, which I assume you have if you're watching this video, then I'm sure you've heard of Escapade Gourmande by Maison Mataha. This was a huge viral sensation and it's a really perfect black sugar vanilla bean tonka musk fragrance.

If you love a sort of rich decadent gourmande with that caramelized brown sugar scent, this is for you. It's supposed to smell kind of like crème brûlée and it does have that kind of burnt sugary top crust that you want to crack with a spoon.

I also think this smells a little bit like chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. It has that slightly salty maybe a hint of chocolate, a little doughy piece of sweetness surrounded by all that vanilla. This is a wonderful gourmande that you can't miss if you're into gourmands.
