Immediate spray smells like concentrated caramel and nothing else. Drydown - play doh, yes, play doh. I love gourmands, but this is not the one for me. Very one dimensional and too sweet in all the wrong ways. I want to like this, i do, but it does not work on my skin.

A pretty, not-too-sweet, pure vanilla. Very easy to wear and a definite crowd-pleaser. I'm considering getting a full bottle!

Best vanilla perfume ever!!!! I swear I love it! Smells like a toasted smoky vanilla! I’ve been dying to get my hands on it and I finally got it! The bottle is also beautiful which is a plus! It’s currently my favorite out of all my vanillas… I thought nothing could beat my Bianco Latte or By Killian I Don’t Need A Prince By My Side To Be A Princess, which both smell amazing! But my Escapade got them beat! I love her real bad! And for people claiming it smells like Bianco Latte, it doesn’t. It’s more of a richer vanilla.

I smell way too much alcohol for this price point. It reminds me of 90's hairspray and that smell lasts a long time. The sweet vanilla that finally comes out after, smells okay but this was WAY overhyped on social media. I would never buy again.

I am truly so disappointed with this perfume. I heard so much hype about it from TikTok, so I HAD to buy it. It does smell amazing, crème brulee is an accurate description. However it is an EXTREMELY faint scent and VERY quick to fade. 10 minutes after spraying, I can’t even smell it sniffing directly from my wrists! For this hefty of a price, it should last longer. I honestly feel like I got a faulty bottle or something happened in production to mess up the formula, because there is no way so many people would love this perfume if it has the longevity that I am experiencing. Very sad about this :(

This is the embodiment of crème brûlée vanilla! It legitimately smells like a fresh desert, but not in an artificial way. It’s elegant, not overwhelming, but projects well at the same time. Such a beautiful vanilla smell and it lasts so well, I can smell it on my clothes at the end of the day. A must have for my collection!

When I picture a gourmand, this is what I picture. Surprisingly not that 'sweet', although it does smell and taste like a desert. 4 stars is because I wish it projected and lasted longer and was a little darker.

Worth every penny and I will always have a bottle. Creme brulee at its liquid gold finest. The projection and sillage is 100/100 and the aroma is everything you could ever want in a vanilla gourmand.

I LOVE LOVE this perfume. Smell just like fresh creme brulee. Yes, it is smell like dessert but it projects in a very elegant and beautiful way. This is the scent that will make people questioned what you wear. This to Bianco has the same sweet honey dry down.

We make Christmas cookies every year from scratch and our recipe has a touch of almond extract in it. You really can’t taste the almond in the cookies when done, but it just adds a little something to the sweetness. This fragrance reminds me of the browned edges of those cookies. Like, I am transported to the holidays in the kitchen with my family, baking and listening Christmas music. Snagging the cookies that don’t look the best for decorating and breaking the edges off for a bite. I love it, but it’s not a long lasting fragrance one me. That’s why the 4 stars instead of 5.

The G.O.A.T. in the vanilla category. This is not for the youngins. A deep, sensual vanilla - doesn’t smell like Kayali 28 to me at all, which I sent back. I will buy this until the end of time even with nowhere to go. Went thru my bottle during the colder months FAST. I sprayed, sprayed my sprays and then sprayed all those sprays again. It is gorgeous and lasts forever. Sugar cookies baking ~ that’s what I smell and it makes my eyeballs roll back everytime I take a quick sniff. Get it. Who cares about that price! Afterpay this one! You will be so happy you did.

I don’t know where I’ve smelled this before, but the vanilla note is very familiar— perhaps it’s like this vanilla perfume oil I picked up at Whole Foods awhile back? What a lovely, sugary, vanilla bomb. I smell like powdered sugar, vanilla, and a hint of expensive pure maple syrup. I tested it last night after a shower, and by the morning it was a faint vanilla skin scent. I’d need to test it again to see if it’s worth buying a $200 bottle, since it really doesn’t last that long.

This smells beautiful. To me, this smells like straight crystallized sugar, with a little musky, clean note underneath. No smoky or tobacco notes that are in a lot of vanilla fragrances. I get compliments by strangers every time I wear this and my friends always ask to wear a spritz when they visit 3 I wore to an office once and it was described as a syrupy vanilla bean pancake. I usually pair with EOS vanilla cashmere lotion and it’s a heavenly cloud combo. I would say it’s a safe blind buy for vanilla lovers :)

This is a beautiful vanilla gourmand and a very safe blind buy, but on my skin this smells extremely similar to Bianco Latte. For collectors, or those on a budget, I personally do not see the need for both. The price of BL is better too. It is delicious though.

Blind buy worthy for gourmand lovers, this will not disappoint. It smells like smooth toffee and tonka beans to me, but never veers into plastic candle territory. = It is smooth and sweet, but never screechy. And somehow it manages to be creamy without being thick or stifling. Would be perfect for fall, but one could pull it off in the summer too.

I expected this to be a little sweeter, but the musky warm notes overpower the super sweetness. Burnt sugar and white musk vibes, similar to Kayali 28. I do like this for layering with a lighter scented fragrance like Mod Vanilla and Vanilla Woods. This smelled amazing on my friend and my mom though! Definitely has lasting power and compliment getter.

I really tried to love this, but unfortunately, this scent was not for me. It reminded me too much of old lady lotion. I even tried layering it with other fragrances like Oriana, but it smelled worse that way. I think it was maybe too much Amber or vanilla.

Lovely and warm with the tonka bean giving it some extra “fuzz” and helping amp up the vanilla. My only issue here is that it stays quite close to the skin and fades over about an hour. Wish it was stronger. Probably great for layering though.
