The Scoop
Once, El Morocco offered a fragrance called Gala. Its formula was lost to time, though one imagines it was named for Salvador Dali's mythologized wife, who moved within the same rarefied orbit. Now, Gala returns: self-possessed, magnetic, and suffused with a seductive gravity few could resist.
The fragrance opens with a radiant burst of mandarin, ginger, and glowing solar notes. At the heart, Moroccan orange blossom takes center stage, enriched by saffron, sweet honey, Parma violet, and jasmine to create a creamy white floral profile with resinous warmth. The scent then settles into an opulent, comforting base of vanilla bean, tonka bean, amber, Iso E Super, cedarwood, and sandalwood.
