Inspired by Albergo Diurno in the Porta Venezia region, Diurno pays tribute to an Italy where there existed public baths and barber shops. A timeless fougere is transformed by notes of Italian amaretto and bourbon. Vanilla from Madagascar lends a creaminess to the accord, while sage and lavender add an aromatic ease. Leather isn’t an official note in Diurno, but the combination of cedar and bourbon give us the impression of a sweet leather richness. A fantastic, modern take on the fougere category.

Traditional lavender flower and geranium are contrasted by the unexpected addition of amaretto and bourbon. A remarkably balanced, contemporary blend of a timeless classic.

A pleasant surprise! This is indeed well balanced. It is perfectly unisex and neither sweet nor fresh but somewhere in between. This could be great as an everyday scent and would work equally well in hot or cold weather in my opinion. The notes are very well blended which makes it tricky for me to smell any individual notes, but if I try, I think I can smell the sage and geranium and a touch of soft lavender. I think I want a full bottle.

This is a thrilling surprise! I ordered the sample pack because I was smitten by Panettone, and now I have another BIG LOVE! This is clean and dirty at the same time. Languishing in the hot sun, with a cool breeze on your skin. Bronzed, shimmering skin peeking out from a crisply ironed white shirt. Nuzzling into his neck while dancing in a hot club late into the night. Its soft, musky, and effortlessly chic. I want to spray myself with abandon! oop - need a full bottle for that :-)
