A recent unexpected hit for me has been this fragrance from Chapel Factory. It's called Baptisma, and whenever you think of a baptism, it is the celebration of new life. I think it's really remarkable that they've kind of captured that spirit, that joy in a fragrance because it has these sweet citrus top notes like ginger and verbena and a little bit of orange. You get this sense of joyfulness of this new life coming into the world.

On the dry down, there's a little bit of orange blossom and incense, and you get this sense of being in an old established institution like the Catholic Church. I think it's really wonderful and interesting, especially for the summer. If you're looking for something new and different, I would try Baptisma from Chapel Factory.

I recently treated myself to this lovely fragrance. I was taken with how smelling this perfume evokes that "having my best life" feeling and experiencing that moment on a perfect spring day. I also like the simple cylindrical bottle with black orb cap presented in a cloth drawstring bag. Well done. Good price point, too.

When I got it, it was winter and even though I liked it, I just wasn't using it. Now that it's spring, I cant stop using it! It's an obsession.

It's surprisingly light. I keep imagining this to be more powerful, but I feel like this is great for the day. The bergamot doesn't get into your nose like Debaser does. It just feels relaxed and sophisticated.

Baptisma is such a poetic take on incense! It kind of smells like the addictive soft smell of a baby, the understated elegance of a mom with the verveine and the neroli, and the church itself in the background. This is purity in a bottle. Skin scent at its best. Never smells chemical or overwhelming. Hard not to wear everyday. Not so much an incense scent but a whole other story, and very beautiful.

This perfume smell like a milky Starburst Candy but with an incense base note. Two starts off because it does not lack at all. I don't really get any meditative element.
