On me, I get the a warm, creamy, rose skin scent which I absolutely love. More like my skin but better. Straight out of the bottle, it's a subtly spiced rose with some underlying tobacco. I would describe the tobacco as that soft wilted dried kind, which isn't overpowering, and adds warmth to the rose. It's pleasant like finding a that sweet smell in the bottom of a leather purse.

A grown-up, less sweet rose. The tobacco isn’t noticeable but perhaps it tempers what could be a strong floral. A good everyday scent, not too feminine. Definitely not matronly.
