Another scent that I bought at the Scent Bar in NYC. This is so beautiful. It smells like the cold sea as it crashes along the breakers. Slightly salty, a little mineral-y, almost seaweedy. Like a thick salty fresh fog. But it has this slight touch of floral and lemon that give it such a gorgeous depth. Very unisex. Very beautiful.

I wanted to love all of the G&B fragrances, but Pacific Moss and Ingenious Ginger are the only two that don’t turn “sour” on me. Now, I have to admit that I have been on the hunt for a signature scent for a long, long time, and I have come close a few times, with #1 being Bond No 9 Wall Street. While Pacific Moss had a slightly softer, floral opening and an almost a soap-like drydown, it’s the closest I’ve found to Wall Street's wow factor (on my skin). It’s definitely a full bottle buy, and not just because Wall Street is so expensive. PM really is a beautiful scent, I just wish it lasts longer.

I absolutely love this fragrance! I burned through my sample and had to have a full bottle. It is the perfect fresh, totally androgynous fragrance. Thankfully it does not smell heavily of melon. It actually lasts on my skin most of the day. Smells great on clothes for days. The only thing I notice is that from my spray sample, I got more lemon in the top notes. Once I bought the full bottle, maybe it’s because some of the oils became concentrated, it’s sweeter and somehow a little coconutty in the top rather than lemony. I prefer the citrus opening. But when it dries down, it’s exactly the same as my sample.

Some reviewers, in my opinion, have no idea what they're talking about. Compliments will continue to pour in for days as you wear this scent. The actual DNA is beautiful, and I don't understand why people believe it smelled cheap. It does not, and it also clearly portrays the coastal and marine aesthetic that Goldfield & Banks were aiming for. Straightforward and remarkable. Buying a bottle every year is on the agenda for me now. There are few scents as enjoyable as this one for creating happy memories while also making you feel wonderful about yourself. As long as they keep making it, this will be a staple in my rotation. It's worth every penny, so don't waste your time thinking about it.

After trying a sample I was convinced I needed a bottle in my collection. Although the scent is not bad, it has no staying power. After 15-20 sprays I get maybe 2 hrs with 10min projection. The scent is nothing spectacular, but the performance is the worse I’ve seen from a niche scent.

This is an "easy wear" for me. Don't expect this to project though, it's a skin scent on me but I expected that. I didn't get much aquatic vibes but it certainly a freshy with a nice crisp feel to it. I'll be enjoying this in the upcoming spring and summer.

This fragrance opens on my skin with an aquatic blast reminiscent of the salty notes I find in Creed's Millesime Imperial. These notes hang around for a while then merge with a woody citrus base, similar to the drydown I find wearing Bois Verde di Mare. A nice fragrance but something I wouldn't include in my rotation, especially for the premium price of $185 for 100ml. Try a sample, you may experience something different. Enjoy!

Glad I avoided the hype on this. I tried it without any expectations. I like it a lot and aquatics can be very iffy for me. This one makes me think of fresh tidal pools with water surging in and out and of rocks covered in limpets and mussels. It's fresh and cheerful. I could definitely make good use of a full bottle.

I love watery, fresh, aquatic scents yet have only ever found one in perfume form that I would wear continuously. This is not that scent. Smelled fresh and clean, sure. Smelled like the ocean? No.

I manage to get a sample of this. The scent is so similar to Lostmarch - Din Dan, that Luckyscent was selling many years ago. However, Pacific Rock Moss comes off as a more subdued version of Lostmarch's - Din Dan whereas it's not too overpowering which is nice for a change.

So, I'll be the jerk that goes down to 3 stars. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad scent. It's really not. In fact, it's pretty dang good for what it does. A clean(ish) marine-based scent. It's warm, inviting, and utterly unoffensive. It gets average performance for an aquatic, on my skin I detect it for about 6 hours (nothing exciting by any means, and probably average for the type of scent its going for). So, why 3 stars? Its the hype - this guy is overrated and, at its price, difficult for me to justify buying another FB once I'm out. And I don't find this being the first I reach four in the summer months either. In my top ten summer rotation, yes. It's good. Just not as good as some people would have you believe.

This fragrance is absolutely amazing!! I’ve never experienced a fragrance like this. The hype is real, this EDP excells in every aspect. The scent is unique and absolutely exquisite. I bought a sample to try the scent, but mainly to check the performance, because I saw mixed reviews about it. This product performs incredibly well, not only for an aquatic with delicate notes, but for any EDP. Not only at the opening and the heart of the scent, but this perfume kept pushing out during drydown for the rest of the day. From the 7th hour onwards I could experience a parade of different notes, mainly geranium, cedar and musk. This fragrance is worth every dollar of its cost.

Personally for me, this is signature scent worthy. I've seen reviews saying the performance and projection are just okay, but for me this thing is beast mode, especially in the hot weather. As far as scent goes, this is the most refreshing fragrance i've ever smelled. It's natural aquatic with a fruity quality to it that puts it above every other fragrance in its category. The price is a negative, but if you're looking for that one perfect aquatic in your collection, this is it.

The scent IS nice and very aquatic. The dry down is even better and so far the performance appears to be pretty good. Definitely a summer daytime fragrance.

Love the scent especially the dry down, however like most aquatics the projection and longevity lacks. It only last about 3 hours on my skin.

Upon first smelling Pacific Rock Moss, I initially found the fragrance to be cloying almost like walking into the Macys fragrance department. After testing it out, I found the scent to be quite pleasant, giving me an oceanesque and forest-like vibe to it. Performance wise, its last about 3-4 hours on me until it barely becomes a skin scent and the sillage is okay, but not great (about 2-3 feet). Overall, I would give this fragrance a 5/5 because on the scent alone despite its lack of performance.
