While this may not be exactly to my tase, I have to say it's perfect for what it is. Simply the best Temple Incense frag of all time. Deeply resinous, smoky, and complex. Reminds me of Caron Parfum Sacre, but 1000 times less sweet. I normally don't like Cardamom, as it sometimes smells like B.O., but it works perfectly here. A must try!

Long duration, moderate to strong sillage. All the other reviews are right about how the scents play off of each other and melt in and out of one another. Relatively consistent through dry down. I am particularly fond of cardamom, generally speaking, so I do notice it in this perfume, but I doubt most people would. I am female and my Italian male partner was instantly, strongly attracted to this scent on me. For a real olfactory treat, apply just before drinking your favorite dulce espresso.

1861 Zefiro is tangy, citrusy and strong. A nice (woody) cedar, citrusy sweet concoction that is accompanied with an incensy spice combined with cinnamon. As a point of reference, resembles a slightly sweet, but dry tobacco-ish Creed's Royal Oud, in fact, my wife couldn't the difference between this and Royal Oud when sprayed. Finally, amber and honey rounds this off perfectly as the sweetness dies down considerably giving you a nice woody slightly sweet ambery fragrance that is very manly and one I definitely enjoy!

I'm quite taken with this one. I would have thought that wine, resins and carnation would put me off, but no. This works for me.

A very nice (woody) cedar, citrusy sweet concoction; with an incensy spicy cinnamon vibe! In the end, the amber and honey combined with the aforementioned notes rounds this off perfectly giving you a woody slightly sweet ambery fragrance with a tobacco type feel. This is a wonderful masculine fragrance IMHO! Thanks Xerjoff!!

Sorry. Not a fan of this perfume. Wouldn't say it's bad. On the contrary it is a good one but just not for me. The Eucalyptus note gives a herbal twist to this perfume which is exactly what I don't want in a perfume.

The honey-amber throughline is a honey-amber throughline, but the spices twined around it make this a striking, not-at-all gourmand adventure. (Cinnamon, a sadly underused note in current perfumery, is particularly novel and enjoyable here moving alongside the cardamon.) A gentleman's iris, and some of us would be extremely pleased to meet that gentleman.
