Mango on the Rocks

I was hopeful for this because I would definitely love to smell like a fruity mixed drink! Sadly, I got too much mint, and not enough mango. And sadly, I think my sense of smell is interpreting the mint as a very "soapy" smell... sometimes that happens to me with coconut too.

Must love mint to wear this. I got no mango at all from this fragrance and it's a favorite of mine in perfumes. This one was all mint on me, which is refreshing, but I prefer to have it in tea!

The mint mango combo isn't one I've experienced before, but it's so perfectly refreshing and summery. Like a reprieve from a warm afternoon to sip on mojitos and snack on fresh fruit. The mint fades first and leaves you with sweet mango. This doesn't last as long as I'd like it to which is why it gets 4 stars. Layering over a cheaper mango spray gave me more bang for my buck. Will absolutely get the full size when I can afford it.

Bought this sample in the Sweet Delights sample pack. I normally adore Hilde scents, but this one did not do it for me. Very mango, but found it to be brash, not soft, and my husband was not a fan either.
