This reminds me of my first favorite perfume, Leap by the Body Shop. Take a step back in time. If you ever liked Leap then this is the perfume for you

An adorable, feminine, utterly natural-smelling spring floral. So uplifting and pretty, liked putting your nose directly into a cluster of fresh mimosa. Bright and tartly vernal at first, tinged with a transparent soupçon of Parma violet, possessing the "narcotic", eye-widening, endorphin-eliciting quality prized by lovers of white florals, but then subsides to a lovely watercolor of honeyed foin coupé chilled with cool, aqueous cucumber. Winsome, cheering, honest. Its unaffected naturalness gives it, I think, an oldschool, early 20thc quality, like a floral from the 1930's or 40's. Lovely, lovely stuff. Girly, you bet, but in the best way, and some fellas will want to wear it, too.

This scent reminds me of my favourite perfume Sonoma Valley Crabtree & Evelyn (which is discontinued). I’ve been looking for so long for something similar and now this is it. I love it. It’s a pity it’s not available in Ireland.

Lovely scent but doesn't last. Was gone within 1/2 hour...

This is one linear I am likely to get. Aside from the fact that I am a huge fan of the Mimosa tree, I've always found linear Mimosa scents tended to smell...cheap, for lack of a better word. This one does not. I believe it's the green in it - which actually makes the tree smell so lovely. This scent makes perfect sense. It's a floral, yes, but it's not a "flowery" one. It's a tree. With - yes - flowers, but also branches, leaves, surrounded by grass... Love it!

I'm in the same boat with parfumnut and the Minneapolis resident. L'Artisans last on me. I like the cool, dry powderiness of this. It has a sophisticed calming effect that has helped me focus during study sessions.

I agree with other posts about this fragrance disappearing on application. It's sooo lovely for about a moment. Why buy a fragrance that doesn't, well, fragrate.

My go to scent when the weather is gray and cold (quite often in New England) . Makes me feel fresh and pretty

This was one of the mimosa fragrances I've ever tried. very green and sweet. I can see the appeal of it..but it's not for me.

This is beautiful, just as lucky scent describes it. Some perfumes just work with you, and with my chemistry this one soars. On my skin, I get a slight anise-y smell in the beginning, kind of like the good and plenty candy, then the mimosa, violet, and rich currant spins in. To me, this is a very sexy scent without being overwhelming or cloying. Its gentle enough for everyday use: you might smell it if I'm crammed in the same elevator with you, but when I leave the perfume will go with me. And yet it is sensual enough to make a good first impression. It reminds me very much of this time of year (early April) when you've just gotten back from some white hot sandy beach vacation and returned to your rainy, blossoming hometown. In other words, its a good scent for both warm and cool environments. The lasting power on me has been totally fine, its been at least five hours now, and I have not needed to reapply. Just about perfect.

PS: i am not sure either why a lot of people say the L"Artisan fragrances do not last on them, i can smell their parfums on me all day. And i use very little, but i do spray alittle either on my clothes or my hair. Don't be fooled, even if you cannot smell the scent on yourself, other people still can. I love the L'Artisan line, they all last on me just fine.

Awwwwwwwww....those pretty little flowers, I am not a crazy about any Mimosa fragrances, EXCEPT THIS ONE. This is utterly beautiful. I smell the flowers , the leaves, the stems, the violets and it is almost a candy like scent on me, without being very sweet. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SCENT.

I'm not sure what to think of this one. Very pretty in the vile.....but... Someone below mentioned it 'evaporates on impact'. Sad but true.

I don't understand what everyone is talking about because this fragance does not wear-off on me. It really lasts on clothing - a week later clothes still have the fragrance. I absolutely adore this perfume. I first found it in a L'Artisan boutique in Paris and am so happy they have it at Lucky Scent! I can't live without it and everyone always asks me what I'm wearing. Beautiful!!!!!

I have a deeply personal and very profound attatchment to this particular scent by L'artisan because it was the preferred parfum of an intimate liaison who perished on 9/11. Not just the redolent catalysis of a lost love but the continuing embodiment of her memory. That Fall, I bought every single flaçon in stock at Henri Bendel and until today, they lasted me five years so I am here to buy more. Perhaps I'm invested differently but the bouquet of this illuminating perfume is worth at least one's patience and consideraton. if the sweetness of a honeyed pomander isn't an aroma that piques your appreciation then this is not for you. This scent captures the nosy taste of a cherry Jolly Rancher and the patina of a hazy sunbleached afternoon in the woods.

Delicious, feminine, delicate, joyful... it disappears in 10 minutes.

L'artisan Parfumeur has many lovely scents but, it is true: they ALL wear off in about 15 minutes... Not worth the price.

You mean someone got 15 minutes staying power with this!!???@!## Lovely in the sample tube, but the scent literally evaporated ON IMPACT.
By   - Sales Assistant  from Chester NJ on 6/30/2005
Beautiful, yes, but it evaporates away to nothingness. I love a subtle, delicate scent, but this little number is kind of anemic. Did get the cucumber, by the way, and the violet. Nice. Creamy sweet enough for a child to wear.
