Here's what other people are saying about Geisha Vanilla Hinoki- Eau de Parfum...
I am obsessed with this scent! I received it as a sample, which was lucky because I wouldn't have guessed I'd like it from the notes - leather and cedarwood are not normally my preference. I usually love vanilla and sweet scents, but something about the mix of this was intoxicating. Purchased a full bottle and loving it!

Vanilla in its smokiest aspect, with gorgeous cypress framing. The bergamot adds an initial sparkle, like slipping into a bath hot enough to get your attention, and is gone; after that the composition -- remarkably linear, as another reviewer noted -- is meditative without being the least bit sleepy despite lavender and patchouli on standby with the olfactory equivalent of clean, plush towels and robes. I see what the description above means about this being a nighttime sort of fragrance, but I’d absolutely wear this into the office if what I wished to convey was a calm authority that will not be rushed in its deliberations.

Definitely a vanilla for the vanilla skeptics, not sugary or cookie-like in the least. I wasn't sure if I'd like it initially, as the opening is quite strong and leans heavily into the hinoki/bergamot/lavender accords, a bit bracing for me though the vanilla is still present. The drydown was my favorite part--quiet vanilla tempered with a hint of patchouli and cedar, absolutely gorgeous.

This one is for people with a love/hate relationship with vanilla. The hinoki wood gives it a whole different slant, so it's not overly sweet or sticky. It's a nice balance of not-too-sweet and brisk wood. Definitely full-bottle worthy. The only reason for the four stars is that it's a bit linear for me. It goes on and stays on and doesn't morph much.
