Shelf Tour - Green/Herbal

Transcript

Today I'm going to look at some of my favorite fragrances on the green shelf. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for green because I want to smell like nature. This is Cedrat Ceruse from L'Artisan Parfumeur. It's part of a series called Le Portage from L'Artisan and they're meant to be inspired by the vegetable garden. This one in particular is the smell of fennel. Crisp, slightly sweet, anisic. I love wearing this.

It's no secret that I'm crazy for Mantes La Jolie from Astier de Villatte. I wear this all the time, either on its own or layered with things. Perfect sprigs of mint and basil.

Poeme de Sagano was inspired by this perfumer's trip to Sagano, Japan and going through the bamboo forest there. So this is many shades of green and features notes of bamboo, eucalyptus, mate, but it's that juicy yuzu at the heart of the scent that really gets me.

Green Spell from Eris. Wonderfully crisp, slightly bitter notes of galvanum with blackcurrant and violet. This is very chic and completely unisex, in my opinion. Has a nice nod to vintage perfume.
