Luckyscent Videos: Orpheon - Diptyque

I love the origin story behind Orpheon by Diptyque. This is named after and based on a bar that was right beside the original Diptyque boutique in Paris, where the founders would go in the 1960s to discuss their ideas and their inspiration for their brand.

This is meant to evoke those curls of tobacco smoke inside the bar as well as the wood of the bar itself. There's a very fresh top note of juniper berries, and this all comes together in this beautiful unisex fragrance.

In that sense, it's a very clean fragrance, but it doesn't feel all that light. This has a lot of body and a lot of presence that only adds to the vintage character and story behind this absolutely beautiful fragrance.
