Hello, today I'm going to be talking to you about Lactonic fragrances which are fragrances that are creamy or milky and this can come from a coconut milk accord or almond milk or even more of a dairy milk scent. It's often paired with sandalwood and vanilla and can kind of be gourmand but as you'll see not in every case.
I'll start with one of my absolute favorites, this is Lait Concentre by Chabaud. I think of the selection here this to me is the most realistically like a glass of warm milk. There's sweetness to this for sure but it's also got a sort of savory element. There's something kind of freshly baked and buttery about this, it's just sort of warm comforting skin.
Next up I have Blanche Bette by Liquides Imaginaire. This is a perfect floral gourmand, there's a lot of tuberose and sort of soft white musk but there's a lot of coconut milk and it gives it this creamy and unique and sort of irresistible aspect.
Bianco Latte by Giardini di Toscano means white milk and this has been a huge hit and it's easy to see why. This is such a perfect fluffy cloud of vanilla that I know gets people tons of compliments. It's just soft and pretty and delicious.
Basilica is a little bit different than the others, this I would not categorize as a gourmand. There's a cedar and incense in the base and it starts out with rosemary and thyme and milk so it's a really herbal cozy creamy comforting scent. We don't really have anything else that smells like this.
And we've got Cow by Zoologist which is also not all that gourmand to me though it does have some edible notes of a very juicy green apple, some milk but it's sort of more lily of the valley fresh shampoo floral, smells like springtime.
Check out our selection of Lactonic fragrances, maybe you will love them as much as I do.
