Luckyscent Videos: Black Jade - Lubin

Black Jade by Lubin is a classic. This is such a beautiful scent from the line and one of my favorites. The story goes that this was Marie Antoinette's scent. This was created for her and kept in a little black jade bottle. It was inspired by her gardens, which are pretty famous. They had roses and jasmine, so you get the idea.

This is a floral scent, but it opens with this cool cardamom, a touch of bergamot, and then it goes into spices. It goes into cinnamon and a bit of incense. It's really complex and elegant and finally dries down into this warm, creamy vanilla tonka bean amber.

I get this sort of decadence and this elegance, but it's also still very classy and contained. I feel special when I wear this. I like to wear it for special occasions. I feel like I'll get a compliment when I wear it because it just speaks volumes without trying too hard.
