I have here the newest release from Goldfield & Banks. Goldfield & Banks is a really interesting brand from Australia. Luxurious fragrances that celebrate the raw materials of that continent. In this case, Silky Woods, Australian sandalwood is used in combination with agarwood.

Agarwood is also known as oud, and if you're familiar with that note, it's a type of wood that's commonly used in Middle Eastern style fragrances and Middle Eastern blends. It has that air of luxury that oud fragrances do. And sure enough, this gold metallic bottle signifies that it's a more luxurious fragrance from the brand.

In addition to those wonderful oud and sandalwood notes, you get saffron, which kind of comes across as leather. It smells like a very supple, very expensive leather suede and a touch of vanilla. I feel that when I smell this fragrance, I can actually feel the texture of it, and it's incredibly luxurious.
