I love incense fragrances. So if you know Avignon by Comme des Garçons or Rêve d'Ossion from Arisa Legrand, you know these wonderful church incense smells. It smells like a combination of frankincense and myrrh, maybe some benzoine.

What's interesting about Olibanum from Profumum is it's just honing in on frankincense itself. In fact, Olibanum is another name for frankincense. When you smell frankincense resin, you get this wonderful balsamic smell with a touch of lemony pine and maybe a fruity top note. This captures that so elegantly. I would say it's almost like a woodsy scent rather than a smoky incense fragrance.

And it lists orange blossom and sandalwood in addition to frankincense in the list of notes. But those are backup players. The main spotlight is for sure on that lemony pine Olibanum smell. Perfect for this time of year.
