It’s pretty good! It definitely grows on you, but if you’re looking for a scent that is true white rice, this is not the one. I got 0% rice from this just straight up jasmine, as a jasmine hater I originally said barf, but after 2 or 3 wears, it got better. I would actually purchase a full size since it’s super inoffensive and neutral. This to me, is a great scent for the office.

I'm glad I found this beautiful fragrance. This is the perfect skin scent. I was literally chased down by this lady in Costco the other day. White Rice will definitely be in my top 5 of fragrances.

Really disappointed with this one. I know it can be hard to project a rice scent, but this feels like it's not even trying. I could hardly smell it out of the sample. From what I could smell, a hint of jasmine, a tiny bit a creaminess, and a whisper of rice, then, all gone in 5 minutes. No pandan, no tonka bean, no musk. I've smelled a good collection of rice fragrances at this point and this one it bottom of the list.

A mellow, nutty fragrance - comforting and low-key. Nice to see Vietnam offering a scent that is so intrinsic to life there.

This is what I was looking for. Rice: soft, warm, fluffy rice. This made me really happy. But after half an hour I couldn't smell anything anymore. But that could also be me. That's why I asked family members, but they couldn't smell anything on me either. I think that's such a shame. Otherwise, this would definitely have become one of my favorite scents.

This perfume is really comforting and fresh. It takes a more clean and light approach to the rice scent, but I really enjoyed it.

Ok, so if you’re looking for a creamy gourmand rice perfume, this isn’t it. Check out Chokedee by Strangers Parfumerie. HOWEVER, if you want a smooth, slightly creamy, realistic rice note, this is amazing! It’s a clean, well blended, beautifully balanced perfume. This would be great as an everyday fragrance, for running errands, or as a bedtime scent. I will definitely be repurchasing.

I absolutely love White Rice, but it doesn't last long at all. It’s also incredibly subtle I went through an entire tester in one go and it still felt soft and faint. While that gentleness can be nice, if I'm spending that much on a perfume, I want it to last and to be able to really smell it. It’s the perfect scent, but it would be amazing if it were stronger and more long-lasting!

This is such a beautiful, comforting jasmine rice scent! It's so subtle and has a nice elevated skin smell (a little musk and sweetness). It's mild enough that I can wear it working in the medical profession and it just smells clean.

A very soft, pretty realistic fragrance that is perfect when you want to wear an inoffensive scent. Steamed rice and Pandan are the most prominent notes. It is imo similar to L'eau Papier but a bit nuttier.

Subtle skin scent, but very addicting! It has a creamy opening at first with rice and pandan, then nuttiness and muskiness, which makes it like a subtle aroma around you. It doesn't feel like you're wearing perfume, but you just smell nutty and creamy, giving a bubbly and cozy vibe.

I really liked this! It has a lovely toasty, puffed rice smell, while still being slightly sweet. I know it is more of a skin scent, I just wish it were a little bit stronger!

This fragrance is photorealistic scent of uncooked jasmine rice. It's nutty and slightly creamy. It reminds me of the uncooked grains in the pantry rice bin, which is a very subtle scent. You can imagine how difficult it is to capture such a faint fragrance. This perfume, it's a fairly linear skin scent.

Love! A very light, neutral, inoffensive perfume appropriate for every day wear. It you’re a fan of Diptyque L'Eau Papier, this is not the dupe you may have hoped for. It’s not as sweet, nuanced, or nutty, but is equally charming.

This perfume is so complex - I was honestly nervous as I absolutely blind bought this, but I trust my source and she said it was amazing. This compliments your skin so softly, but without hiding. I'm in love. The rice scent is not cloying at all - it smells clean and musky at the same time. The dent I will make in this bottle.

This must be the Emperor’s New Clothes of perfume - I can’t smell anything at all. I love subtle skin scents that wear close to the body, but I swear I cannot smell this no matter how much I use, even immediately after application with my nose right on my wrist. Maybe I also got a bad sample? I wanted to love this and waited a long time for it to come back in stock, but sadly this was a total fail for me.

This White Rice perfume surprised me with how complex it is. The fragrance has a subtle, soft sweetness that's reminiscent of jasmine rice. It's actually less overpowering than I thought it was going to be, I think because of the nuttiness from the rice. You can totally smell the orris and jasmine mixing in there. Everything blends into a nice, warm musky scent as it dries down. It's quite enjoyable and unlike anything I've ever worn before. I would love a bit more projection when worn outside, but this is perfect for office setting. One of my favs from d'Annam's collection!

Where do I start with this? The nasty blast of alcohol on first spray? The utterly weak performance of lasting not even an hour... I have EDTs that lasts longer. Quite frankly, the worst fragrance purchase of 2024 and probably of all time. The scent smells like nothing... well very bland steamed rice. I have a 400 bottle collection and this... this is the most boring weak fragrance my nose has ever experienced, a total fail and that alcohol blast at this price point is completely unacceptable. I have no idea why people hype this, unless I got a bad bottle.

So glad I ordered this right before they sold out because this is exactly what I needed. As a gourmand lover, I need something that was nice and soft and slightly sweet to wear to work and this was everything and more. Smells like sweet steamed rice, very fluffy and comforting. A nice skin scent to have in the collection.
