Stunned

There is something short but sweet when first applied, but it is quick to dry down into what I'd call a classic 'metaphysical shop' smell. That's not a bad thing per se, but its specific. A semi-rosy, woody, myrrh heavy resinous tone, that the description above calls a "dense smoky syrup" that is fairly close to what I experience. Done well, but simply not to preference. Has good longevity, it settles onto your skin and clothes or a good chunk of the day. I don't find it all that innovative or provocative personally.
