Bo by Liis is this beautiful woodsy skin scent. It's inspired by a coastal town in Northern California, so there's this idea of the redwood forest mixing with marine breeze. I get all of that. There's this beautiful note of elemi and a little bit of cedar. I get just a hint of tobacco and a nice sort of peppery spice up top. It's translucent, airy, and just lovely.

This whole line is meant to be sheer and light-wearing, but I believe it really does linger on skin for quite a while, which is, to me, an ideal way to wear scent. These scents are also clean, which is really wonderful. So check them out, Liis. And this is Bo. Really great.

For me, this opens with a distinct & pleasing note of black pepper, then pivots to a pretty, sweet gourmand. I like both, and enjoy the unexpected pairing. If it lasts well, I’ll go full bottle.

Alright, this smells like incense... I didn't feel the vanilla, its not awful because my mom loves it, she said it was soft for her and she's someone who doesn't tend to like perfumes, but I didn't like it, I was expecting something more refined.

On first spritz, eucalyptus, which although not listed in the notes is something that I LOVE and really reminds me of the central coast of California. That burst of freshness disappears relatively quickly, to be replaced by a realistic redwood pine. Not a simple piney note, but as if I’m standing in a grove of trees. I can smell the bark, the needles, the moist earth. This seems as if it disappears relatively quickly on me, but that may be due to the fact that my nose is used to it after an hour or so and I live in an incredibly dry climate. Regardless, this is on my list for a potential full bottle.

Lovely fragrance that lasted all day. I really like this - fresh, but spicy. The incense and woods came through, but gently so. And the fresh vanilla (not overwhelmingly sweet) finish balanced the spices and woods. Very nice.

Upon first spray, the notes smell like pepper to me. I don't hate that, but it wasn't expected. It's woody and peppery, without much of the vanilla (to me, obviously).
