Here's what other people are saying about No. 8 Tonic Vert...
An overwhelming licorice accord, very pointed, aromatic, herbal, and pretty astringent. The geranium ends up being the strongest note in this fragrance. The citrus is present, but really takes a backseat to the geranium. I get a sense of something cetalox-y or Iso-E Super-y, again something rather alcoholic and astringent. Perhaps a little too aftershave like After a long time, once the astringent notes have faded, I'm left with a very close skin scent of vetiver and musk. Nothing really green about this to me, which was a little disappointing for a "Tonic Vert." Decent longevity. I didn't find the projection to be notable, though that may be different with an atomizer. My overall impression is a 6/10.

This is a great summery kind of fragrance that sits close to the skin. Days when you want something clean, yet slightly musky that's not overbearing this is the one I reach for. Love the oakmoss and pomelo notes!!

Tonic 8 gives a green, dry and somewhat tart whoosh from the first spray.LS description is spot on: dry, dry, dry and definitely great for the coldest days in winter. I’ll try it in the summer and late fall.Definitely more “power” and fizzy than some other citrus fragrances: just a bit better than Goldfield & Banks’ Bohemian Lime and definitely not as restrained as Di Ser’s Tsuki- the latter is a great “niche” scent but no projection or silage.Highly recommend Tonic No.8 if citrus is “your cup of tea”.

Every time I wear this scent, strangers will stop and ask me what I'm wearing and where can they get some...enough said! I've know subbed it in as my "daytime scent" which occasionally goes into night. Amazingly, this citrusy scent does last, well into the night. It's now a must have, so please Thomas Kosmala, don't stop making it! Thank you.

I ordered a group of the Kosmala samples. Often, if the basic juice has an off note, I won't like any of the fragrances in the line. I wasn't thrilled with Tonic #1, because it had a damp cardboard ending to it. Not this! This is bracing, dry, playful and beautifully blended to bloom through stages--sometimes shy, sometimes more powerful. It's not a sillage monster, but it is a presence on your wrist. Not shy, but personal. If you are tired of fruity-florals, this may be for you. It's full of character, brightness, and light.
