A little too aromatic for my taste. The most prominent note is eucalyptus with some other, resinous, peppery, sour note that I don't particularly care for. It smells like an antique bottle of barber's tonic, which has concentrated down to a sticky resin over a century or so, would smell like. The calone note is pretty well-tamed, even though it's not my favorite. The heather might be contributing something somewhat dusty to the overall picture, softly and from a distance. Right after spraying, I had to lift my wrist to my nose to catch it enough to even start to comment on the notes. Timid snatches of it drift in my personal space for a little less than an hour, then the storm has passed. 6.5/10.

I love a scent that sparks a memory and makes me feel something, and this scent does exactly that for me. It reminds me of hiking with dried pine or spruce needles on the ground in the opening, but the drydown is this gorgeous sea scent. I would love to wear this or have a boyfriend wear this. It feels cozy in the best way possible.

Heavy fir or spruce smell, followed by a smell that reminds me of aftershave - a heavy cologne with new car vibe.

No. Just no. It smells very musty, indeed reminiscent of books, and vetiver. Ambergris and vetiver are the star of this—if you like those two you’ll like this. But for me—this is a huge no.

Briefly smells like stormy sea, quickly dries to chemical. Kinda disappointed.

Heavy spruce opening. I detect a hint of smoke after a bit that become very earthy and that vetiver kicks in. Salty marine notes/aquatic meld well with the vetiver. The eucalyptus is almost a light cough drop quality - slightly there floating on the surface, but not as prominent on my skin. I prefer that spruce is the dominate woody note and the salty marine really pushes through. Longevity is moderate. I enjoyed wearing this as a woman and is a great unisex frag for the colder months.

the last sentence of the product blurb is spot-on: "An everyday scent for those with discriminating taste." It's fresh but not bracing. Longevity pretty good. I'm very fond of this, and super happy that it comes in a small size, which really makes me much more likely to buy, in general. (I'd always rather have MORE choices).
