Fox in the Flowerbed is this gorgeous fragrance by Imaginary Authors that's a floral scent. It opens with tulips and jasmine. I get tons of endolic jasmine in this, which I love. If you're a jasmine fan, this is for you to check out. There's some beautiful notes in here of pink peppercorn. There's this hint of spice and there's this touch of incense or frankincense.

I think what it does, what I'm smelling is just a hint of sort of earthiness. There's a little green. There's a little earthiness. It kind of adds a little weight to this otherwise very like soft and pretty floral fragrance. I love this bottle so much, so I'm really sold on the packaging already.

The story is even better. It's about alpine fairy tales and some students who track down a reclusive author, so of course this incredible, whimsical story to go along with this beautiful bottle.

But really, this fragrance is stunning. If you like florals, if you like jasmine, this is for you. Check this out. It's so beautiful.

The opening made me dislike this. It reminds me of a funerary and going to a loved one’s wake. It makes me feel sad because of it. After about 15 mins the strong smell dies down and what’s left is good but it’s not for me.

On a test strip, this smelled like the most beautiful floral I ever encountered. I thought it was going to be my favorite of the bunch I ordered. However, on skin it turned into a urinal cake. Like straight up public restroom. Granted, I'm an athletic guy who prefers florals, so my skin chemistry might not the target audience for this, but definitely a departure from my first impression with it. If your skin works with it, its a beautiful scent. Smells like you're inside a giant tulip.

Lovely fragrance - soft, mild, light. Definitely get the jasmine and honey. I saw reviews that said this was soapy, but I don't get that. Dries down to a lovely jasmine floral. I'd rate it more feminine-leaning than Lucky Scent does, though it's not too sweet. Sillage is intimatelow for me (though I'm wearing from a sample, not sprayed).

A very friendly scent-- soapy floral fruity at first, then I seem to get mostly rose and hyacinth notes. The definition of "pretty".

This is a beautiful floral fragrance that makes me long for springtime. It's youthful, sunny, bright, and uplifting. It does lean feminine, but I think if you are a guy that likes florals then this would be safe. Imaginary Authors fragrances are known for their woodsy fir and pine notes likened to life in the Pacific Northwest. Fox in the Flowerbed is a bit of a departure from that theme, although it does have earthy notes in the composition, it's very much in the background with the floral notes taking center stage. I really like it! Silage is within arms length and longevity is above average.
