If you're looking for Vavavoom ala Fracas you won't find that here, but Do Son is still a very distinct perfume. It's noticable, pretty and I've been complimented on it by men and women. It has that over-whipped unsweetened butter effect of tuberose. The initial spray is quite bright; almost reminding me of jasmine and honeysuckle, but after half an hour you'll notice the soft edges, it contains benzoin which is warm and soft, but it feels slightly velvety in texture - velvety rubber if that makes sense. The dry down has a lovely musk, just lovely all the way through. It suits a UK summer very well indeed, in other words, quite warm but not sweltering sweating profusely warm! The EDP is also gorgeous, deeper. I don't wear this a lot, but feel something's really missing if I don't have it.

This is a marvelous scent. It is so light. The only minor issue I have with it is that it is not long lasting--never mind, buy it, and spray it on---OFTEN!

Straight-up tuberose as far as I can tell. I prefer L'Artisan's Nuit de Tuberose, which is oily and narcotic. The Do Son smells like a daytime lei.
