Fig Tea

Light, happy, green, milky with a subtle sweetness. Simple go to scent for a sunny day. Projection and sillage are not that much as it's EDT and i also notice this evaporate very fast compared to other samplers that I ordered for the same time. After 6 months, I used it twice but it's only 14 of the bottle left compared to other ones that are still full.

This is a simple scent and light enough to wear if you're looking for something subtle. It didn't impress me much and reminded me of dryer sheets. A very clean fig scent.

I love tea and I love fig. I was excited for this but disappointed. While this isn't unpleasant, it also wasn't super special. It smells like a fresh and light fruity body splash that one could pick up from a drugstore. Very lovely, but simple.

A nice, light scent. Slightly fruity, slightly floral. Not overwhelming in any way. A nice scent that is subtle enough to wear daily.

Have been looking for a fresh, happy scent that isn’t very floral or super perfumy, which is pretty difficult lol. I ordered about 8 samples here, including this one, and this was the winner for me. It is very fresh and light, has that shower fresh feel, but with a hint of berry, or I guess fig. It’s just really really nice. Definitely a happy scent. Put it on yesterday at about 4:30am before my 6am shift and it is now the next morning and I can still smell it on my wrist. It’s definitely not a strong scent at all, but it’s there. Very nice for an Eau de toilette. Just ordered a full size!

This one snuck up on me. I found the sample a little light on my skin and dismissed it, though I didn't dislike it. A week later, I found myself craving this scent and, on second wearing, fell in love. It's sweet but dry, light and sophisticated. It's a little subtle, but it grew on me.

Perhaps more properly thought of an osmanthus with a sappy fig ambling in after about 10-15 minutes, this is interesting, because, during the osmanthus phase, I get a vague note of dried black fig mixing with the tea, a kind of murmur. Then things richen a bit when the fig proper comes to the fore. This is a real, technically-compelling shape-shifter. I also like that Nicolaï offers 30ml sizes at a reasonable tariff. The prices in niche are getting outrageous, often for sub-standard offerings, and you can always count on Nicolaï for quality, well-thought-through compositions, and value. Brava!

Wonderful scent. Second only to Diptyque Philosykos for a fig scent. Greatly enjoyed. Well done!

lovely simple a bet plain and cold refreshing

I found this one to be simple and plain. Something I would expect from a department store counter. Also it's a young sent in that sense, not sophisticated.

On me, this smells like salt, and reminds me a bit of Cristalle. When it dries down I get an initial quick whiff of fruitiness, then it goes back to the salt smell. I find it very interesting and different from other scents I have sampled recently. My husband liked this one a lot.

mmmmmm fig tea , lovin this stuff . i normally cant do figs in perfumes ; that green and milky fig accord makes me sick real fast and im not sure why cos i love the smell of real figs . ive eaten em lots of times and had no probs with the lingering juice on my tshirts but somehow in perfumes .. i cant do it . makes me wanna frow up after a few mins , the same goes for coconuts in perfumes , i like the smell of it but it makes me sick real fast. here its a juicy and sweet fig instead of the usual green leafy bs . fig tea has a nice amt of depth to it despite its light nature . its kinda like a consomme soup where its clear but full of flavor . it smells like a bold iced tea thats brewed with like a ton of tea bags and a small amt of peach for aroma , then sweetened with fig juice. its got pretty great longevity too for bein an eau fraiche (with 4 - 5 sprays i get bout 5 hours before it fades completely) but you WILL need to respray this throughout the day . its surprisingly full of vigor for somethin that on paper seems like it would be kinda boring . obviously perfect for summer but ive been wearin it in winter and whenever i smell that juicy sweetness on the collar of my coats it makes me happy. an all around awesome perfume that will get a lot of use cos its relatively simple yet its different . i cant think of any other perfume that smells quite like fig tea . its sorta kinda reminds me of one of my fav cereals , fruity pebbles

I was immediately taken with this fragrance when I sampled it, as I love tea and I adore figs. Its creamy-spicy aroma was something I had never experienced before, and I was pleasantly suprised to find that this was actually long-lasting. I own a full bottle of this, but I don't find that I reach for it. It is a little bit different from the sample I had and loved. Either the fragrance has been changed from the original sample I once had, or my skin chemistry has changed, because now Fig Tea fades into a boring detergent aroma with no tea or figs to be found. When I take the lid off and sniff the sprayer, it smells the same luscious creamy-spicy way it used to on my skin, but when I actually put it on my skin now, it smells nothing like it does in the bottle anymore.

This was my go-to frag this past summer. Light, but with enough body to create some sillage - even in Colorado's dry climate. It's a unique fragrance; it's almost easier to say what it is not. It is not sugar-sweet. It is not gourmand, at least to me, but it is ripe. It is not overpowering, but has presence. It can transition from work to dinner out with ease. Definitely a favorite.

I love, Love, LOVE this fragrance. It is sweet but not cloying. It is simple with stages of development. Think of a fresh fig. The raw skin of the fruit, the sweet nectar and the juice that crystallizes after running down your hand after a succulent bite. I am on my 3rd purchase of this fragrance. Did I mention it has great staying power? Great in the warm season.

This is my favorite scent. It's incredibly unique and is just the right balance of sweet and spicy. I've never smelled anything quite like it, and it's become my signature.

Smells like sweet licorice with a hint of fig and tea on my skin. I suppose the fig note could have been more prominent, but I still like it since I love licorice almost as much as I love figs.

Extremely unpretentious...

A lovely, light summer fragrance. Fruity, but not sweet, and unlike any other perfume I've smelled.

I like fig scents, but I really don't care for this. There's not much depth; it smells like a drugstore fragrance or an air freshener. Every time I put this on, I end up scrubbing it off. Not so good to my nose.
