Here's what other people are saying about Speakeasy...
Fruity and strangely antiseptic up top, but so’s a decent mojito (or, better, tumbler of chilled gin). It’s basically your notice to clear your head and prepare for the gorgeous, bordering-on-soliflore tobacco, framed by a damp tropical wood (which may be me gloriously overthinking the hay that tonka brings) and an even damper leather. Elegantly lewd.

Just received my bottle and I love it! There in the beginning you get leather and booze followed by this cherry chapstick vibe; now how did they do that....mind boggling. the cherry chapstick vibe is not bad nor is it feminine, it brings out the leather in a strange kind of way. This fragrance has the masculine smoky aroma with the fruitiness resting in the base. Great fragrance, with great longevity. Sillage and projection might be a bit of a downer, however, still in the observation process so, I'll have to get back with that analysis on that. Overall, a wonderful addition to the wardrobe.

People seem to love the 1270. Personally, I've never smelled it. I own a bottle of the 1697 and speakeasy blows it away. I've been dipped in sucker sauce so therefore I'm a sucker for gourmand fragrances. If you're on the fence, I would suggest you to at least sample this.

This opens up with a creamy mojito vibe, rum and mint with a hint of vanilla. A little sweet at first, and of course, boozy. The mint and rum die off after about an hour on my skin, and I'm left with a really nice and subtle tobacco and tonka bean dry down. Wonderful stuff!

Admire the concept, but it turned to powder on me within 20 minutes(not good). Maybe it'll continue to develop. Will update if change occurs.
