Luckyscent Videos: Kurky - Maison Francis Kurkdjian

Kurky, the latest release from Maison Francis Kurkdjian, is a very lighthearted and playful fragrance. It's meant to be very youthful and light and airy. It opens with a really vibrant burst of like a gummy candy. What I love about their interpretation of that kind of image is that this isn't necessarily a juvenile fragrance. It's fresh, it's light, it's a little bit warm though too.

It's primarily a musk fragrance. It's one of those fragrances that really becomes a part of you. It's not super overpowering. Although I do think that it lasts. That's one of the reasons that I really wanted to do a review of the scent because I think that maybe if you're just smelling it on paper, you might think that this fragrance vanishes really quickly. And while it's not a really bold or loud scent, it does linger for a long time.

I think in that sense it actually shares something in common with Baccarat Rouge. They don't smell anything alike to be clear. But I think both of them are primarily base notes fragrances. They do last a really long time, just subtly so. However, while Baccarat Rouge is sweeter and kind of darker, this one is, again, very light and playful and just so fun to wear. So definitely recommend trying Kirky.
