Luckyscent Videos: Arabican Rose - Maison Tahite

If there's one little subset of the niche perfume categories that I always go for, it's mysterious dark roses. They always get me. And so I was so delighted to try on Arabican Rose from Maison Tahite.

Now I have a little garden in the back of my house and I grow Immortelle or Helichrysum and roses. When I walk around in certain parts of the year, these smells combine and it's truly intoxicating and magical. This fragrance captures that smell.

When I looked at the list of notes, it didn't actually list Helichrysum or Immortelle, which could be described as more like curry or maple syrup, but it does list coffee. In fact, Arabican is referring to Arabica coffee. And sure enough, in the dry down underneath the Immortelle, I get that rich dark coffee.

There's a touch of raspberry in the scent, which gives it a little bit of color and lift. This is mysterious and dark and I love it.
