Luckyscent Videos: Eau de Protection - Etat Libre d'Orange

I've been a big fan of Eau de Protection from Etat Libre d'Orange for god knows how long. This fragrance was designed by the Antoines, Antoine Lee and Antoine Maison Dieu. You know their fragrances from other Etat Libre d'Orange and from Comme des Garçons.

This fragrance was designed for the Spanish actress Rosita Palma, who's one of my favorite actresses. And I would describe this as a very bizarre metallic rose. The metallic glint is actually coming from a ginger note. Then it settles into the most beautiful rose chypre with patchouli in the base.

In fact, the dry down is so different from the beginning, so I love the journey that this fragrance takes you on. All the while, I get this beautiful wisp of heatión at the top of this fragrance just swirling like gentle white florals.

This is truly a unique and beautiful fragrance and I wear it so often, probably more than I care to admit.
