Tubereuse Astrale is an absolutely intoxicating tuberose fragrance from Maison Crivelli. This scent was inspired by the founder's experience watching the stars in the summertime and getting a waft of warm tuberose fragrance in the evening. This really captures the lush and romantic quality of that image so beautifully.

However, this isn't just a pure tuberose fragrance, it's got a little bit of a leathery and spiced quality to it. There's a lot of vanilla bark in here and I love that they describe it as vanilla bark because it really has that kind of woody, warm quality to the spice as well.

Like all of the extrades from Maison Crivelli, this fragrance is very strong. It lasts forever and it projects beautifully. When you're smelling it up close, you really get more of that kind of mineralic, salty leather musk that has become kind of a signature for the brand.
