Luckyscent Videos: White Rice - d'Annam

White Rice by d'Annam is something I have completely fallen head over heels for. This is sort of a perfect skin scent. It does smell like rice. It's inspired by the white jasmine rice that you would find at many Vietnamese meals. This is a Vietnamese brand. And so there's jasmine in there as well as boris, which gives it this sort of papery nuttiness.

It starts out with rice and pandan before it goes into those florals in the heart and ends up with a white musk and woodsy and tonka bean dry down. I detect a little bit of Iso E Super in this, so it has that same intoxicating quality that something like Molekula One does. I've gotten a lot of compliments on this. It doesn't feel like you're wearing a fragrance. It's just sort of this beautiful aroma around you.

I would highly recommend White Rice, especially if you love a skin scent or if you love iris or oris. This is definitely prominent in this, but I wouldn't categorize it as just an iris scent. There's a lot of creamy nuttiness to round it out. It's really unique and really fun.
