Luckyscent Videos: Sacred Scarab - Zoologist

Sacred Scarab by Zoologist, I think, was launched in 2022 and it was made by perfumer Sultan Pasha, who works primarily with Attars and that's his primary focus. So this is his actually first sprayable perfume, which I was very excited about. It's got all the intensity and the depth of his Attars but in a sprayable format.

It's this beautiful aldehydic opening with tons of civet and a little bit of, I think, lotus. Then it sort of dries down and develops into this beautiful plummy amber with some gorgeous resins. It makes me think of, you know, walking around L.A. You see tons of old Frank Lloyd Wright houses that kind of look like ancient tombs but with his sort of twist on it.

So this kind of reminds me of old school fragrances like Joy by Jon Patu or even old Guerlain with modern twists, unexpected notes through the artistic vision of Sultan Pasha. And the more I wear it, the more I love it. The more I love it.
