Luckyscent Videos: Ichnusa - Profumum Roma

Ichnusa is a vibrant green fragrance from the Italian brand Profumum. There are so many beautiful fragrances from this line, but on hot days in particular I find myself reaching for Ichnusa constantly. The island of Sardinia used to be named Ichnusa, so this fragrance is supposed to reference the landscape of that island.

It's a blend of fresh green notes like fig leaf, myrtle, and fresh cut grass. It's supposed to evoke the smell of the air in the height of a hot Mediterranean summer. Unlike many other fig fragrances, which kind of lean into the creamy or fruity aspects of the plant, this really focuses on the crisp, watery, kind of semi-qualities of the fig plant.

When you first spray it on skin, it almost has kind of a mentholated or camphorous cooling quality that just makes it perfectly refreshing on a hot day. I just love this so much. I think if you're a fan of green fragrances or you're looking for a really realistic fig leaf scent, you really can't miss Ichnusa.
