Luckyscent Videos: Mefisto Gentiluomo - Casamorati-Xerjoff

This is a recent discovery for me. It came out in 2018 and it's a new take on the old Mefisto by Casamorati. This version, the Gentiluomo, I don't really know how to pronounce that but I think it's something like that, is more citrus forward. The original Mefisto to me was a very classic gentleman. This has a modern take and is very much more playful.

It's definitely more mask-leaning. I personally will wear something if I like it whether or not it's meant for men or women and I really love how this dries on skin. It's like somewhere in between a fougere and a fresh clean robe from a hotel or like fresh linen. So it's really lovely.

There's notes of bergamot and lavender in there that definitely pop. There's also a hint of amber and musk so it's not overly sharp or biting. It has a really beautiful roundness to it.
