Marem from Caswell-Massey is a tribute to a silent film star. Her name was Marem Leviton, also known as Alla Nazimova. That was her stage name. She was a Broadway star. She was a silent film star. She was quite the unique and incredible progressive artist. I love that this is a tribute to her. This was actually created for her in 1914.

She was so elegant and sweet and soft and delicate. I love this. It smells modern and interesting. I love this idea of creating this perfume now in this modern interpretation because I think if she were alive now, this is how she would smell. She would smell interesting and modern and complex. That's what I get from this beautiful scent.
