Luckyscent Videos: Byredo - Palermo Eau de Parfum

Palermo by BYREDO is one of my favorite scents to recommend for the summer. It's a beautiful bergamot, an Italian bergamot that dries down to a gorgeous musk on your skin. I love the way it opens. This is way more bitter and tart than most citruses. In fact, to me, instead of a juicy quality, it almost, in my mind, evokes the pith of a peel, of a fresh peeled grapefruit.

But the notes are bergamot and biegerade. That's the bitter orange and it usually gives it a little bit of a warmer temperature for a citrus and a brighter, vibrant tartness. That opening I find very invigorating and refreshing.

About a half hour in, those notes soften into the rose at the heart and then leaves, I feel like about an hour into the dry down, a beautiful musk. It's Skin Musks and Ambrett Musk. I love the Ambrett Musk note. To me, it always feels like a dusty musk.

I love this starting as a sun-kissed, fresh-picked fruit and drying down to sun-kissed, warm skin. I recommend this to anyone, men, women. Though you can wear it any time of the year, I think it's particularly enjoyable in the summer, in the heat. Give this a shot if you're looking for a summer scent. Thanks for watching.
