Luckyscent Videos: Wilhelm Parfumerie - To My Father

This is To My Father from Vilhelm, a beautifully warm, comforting fragrance. The perfumer behind this is Bertrand Duscherfort, really one of my favorite perfumers. He's such a master and I've been following his fragrances for a very long time now.

So when I'm wearing this, I feel like I'm transported into a private library. It smells of dusty leather-bound books, a touch of whiskey, and a little bit of cherry pipe tobacco. Incredibly comforting and so, so mellow. A really wonderful scent.

If you're a fan of, let's say, Barrionda from Nazamato and just appreciate that soft, whiskey smell, then this is certainly something for you to check out. It has a note of Cabruva oil, which comes from a certain type of tree in Brazil. Something that's very new to me and I'm kind of curious to find out more about that.
