Luckyscent Videos: Annabels's Birthday Cake - Marissa Zappas

Annabel's Birthday Cake by Marissa Zappas is this collaboration with astrologer Annabelle Gatt, and it's meant to invoke feelings of a birthday party complete with balloons and this wonderful birthday cake note. So, two rose frosting, candied rose petals, a little bit of lemon sugar, and this fluffy, spongy white cake. I do get all of those notes, but as sweet as that sounds, this is actually much brighter and fresher and almost wears transparent and airy.

I get this feeling of, like, whimsy and this wonderful sort of clean dry down of white musk. I find this to be so beautiful. It lingers in this sort of gauzy cloud around me when I wear it. Makes me feel happy and still grown up, but like a nod to childhood and joy and just the feelings that all these notes would invoke.

It's really fun. I can't recommend this enough. Annabelle's Birthday Cake.
