Luckyscent Videos: BDK Parfums - Gris Charnel

One of the absolute standout fragrances for me of 2020 is Gris Charnel by BDK. This is my personal favorite from the line. It is this gorgeous, sort of dark, slightly spicy and cozy fig scent actually. There's this wonderful touch of fig, there's a little bit of maybe black tea, just a kiss of earthy patchouli, some nice sandalwood and tonka in the base.

To me it's creamy and cozy. It's like being enveloped and wearing this gorgeous cashmere grey sweater. I just love that idea and that's what I think of when I think of this perfume. Gris Charnel means carnal grey, which I think alludes to a little bit of sexiness. So this is like a not in your face kind of sexy. It's a subtle, understated, warm and sensual fragrance.
